Fun Facts!

• What’s the most helpful piece of advice you’ve ever received?  A childhood friend quoted this to me, “You always have to remember to take care of you first and foremost, because when you stop taking care of yourself, you get out of balance and you really forget how to take care of others – Jada Pinkett Smith”.
• What’s the best part of your job? I am in a position where I assist professors develop and apply for grant funding to various agencies for schools, etc. I love the fact that I get to help and be with them throughout the entire process – to see their true passions revealed to me from the confirmation of the award, to the final project submission. I love going above and beyond to help anyway I can, in all that I do.
• If I won the lottery…I would buy a mansion on thousands of acres to rescue/foster as many animals as I could.  To be able to show them a real FURever home!
• What advice would you give to someone who just joined BEETTAN? Think outside the box and have an open mind. Do not wait until you have received everything in the mail. Start brainstorming now on the whos, whats, whens, wheres, and hows, so that when you receive your packages in the mail, you are not overwhelmed with where to start, etc. We are human and learn by trial and error. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
